The local news paper has a comment on Facebook that they were looking for an inspirational mother that they could do a piece on. As most people did I am sure, I thought of my own mother, and the deserving things that she has done that would be worth printing. I sent through my thoughts, we will see what happens. Knowing my mother she would not accept the fuss being made.
She, along with many other mums endure for their children's sake. I wrote of the great things that she has achieved through the lives of her children. A nurse, a Teacher, a Dental assistant, and me. I would say that this is a good effort from someone who had very little in the way of finances and material things.
Then tonight I found an amazing advertisement from Proctor and Gamble.
It is said to be the best add of the year. It kind of goes along with what I said in my e-mail to the local news paper. Behind every champion, we are all champions in our own unique way, there is a mother, who drives us to be the best that we can, and when we become what they knew we could become, they are so overwhelmed.
I am grateful for my mother, and for all mothers. I am particularly grateful for those that do their best without the support of a husband, for what ever reason. I worked with a lady named Tracy, who was a single mum, and I made sure she knew that I thought she was amazing.
I wish all mothers an amazing mothers day as you reflect on what you have helped, ore are helping your children to become.
